Alpha Update 6/21/18
-
Despite the fact we did not have time for a meeting, you all stepped up, helped out, greeted guests and we started strong!
-
Lots of interest from Cathedral parishioners and guests from afar- at my table we had guests from Mt. Auburn! Woot!
-
CCCW did a great job with excellent food and the right quantities!
-
Looking around the room at your tables was exciting, seeing the conversations, smiles, engagement was truly what Alpha is all about- congrats to you all!
-
We are grateful to Haley Bentel and Deacon Scott for their hospitality help last night- Lisa did amazing and I am sure appreciates their help! Great job Lisa.
-
Most of the guests indicated they are coming back next week- great job on your leadership!
-
Team mtg: We would like to move the team meeting up to 5:45pm. If this is going to be an issues for you, please let us know and we can work something out.
-
Increase hospitality: We are going to reach out to Men’s Club, Knights, and CCCW to see if we can get some more hands on deck to help with food/hospitality, clean-up and greeting while we are at our meeting.
-
Sound: We understand it was difficult to hear so what we are going to do is set out fewer tables, which will allow us to spread them out more.
-
Guests want to know the full schedule: We will include an announcement of the full schedule next week.
-
Time: The evening introduction/dinner section will be getting faster, so that will allow for more discussion time. The majority of the tables seemed comfortable wrapping up at 8PM, so we will officially be going from 6:30PM- 8:00PM. Remember, there is always the option to invite the discussion to continue at another location (ie, Obed’s etc.) after we end.
